Our Team: The people responsible for your project from first conversation to completion

Streetspace is structured around continuity. The people involved in understanding a project, developing the design, establishing its cost and preparing it for construction remain connected as it progresses into delivery.

That gives clients direct access to the people responsible for the outcome and helps retain the knowledge developed during the early stages of a project. Our team brings together construction, design, technical, commercial and client experience, with specialist consultants and subcontractors brought in where the requirements of an individual project demand them.

LEADERSHIP

RD

Roy Deacon
Managing Director

Roy is responsible for the day-to-day running of Streetspace.Build, with a particular focus on commercial discipline and the quality of project outcomes. He is involved from the earliest stage of client conversations, working with school leaders and estates teams to shape viable solutions aligned with budget and programme constraints.

His background in construction spans more than three decades, and his understanding of cost and delivery is central to how the business approaches every project.

TD

Tim Deacon
Chief Executive Officer

Tim leads the long-term strategic direction of Streetspace and brings over 30 years of construction industry experience. Since co-founding the business in 2012, he has developed a delivery model focused on accountable, design-led outcomes.

He remains involved in more complex schemes, contributing to design development and ensuring projects align with long-term estate requirements.

CLIENT ENGAGEMENT

BN

Ben Napthine
Head of Client Relationships

Ben works directly with school leaders and estates teams from the earliest stage of a project, often before a formal brief exists. His role is to help clients understand what is achievable within real budget and site constraints, shape the conditions for a viable project, and ensure solutions can be clearly presented for internal approval.

KI

Karl Ingram
Client Relations Manager

Karl works closely with clients to develop clear, viable project briefs. He brings together key stakeholders, helps shape proposals that align with budget and operational requirements, and ensures the early stages of a project are well coordinated and clearly communicated.

DESIGN AND TECHNICAL

WD

William Deacon
Design Manager

William leads the development and coordination of design across the project portfolio, ensuring proposals are compliant, buildable and aligned with project requirements.

He translates early concepts into deliverable solutions, maintaining consistency between design intent, regulatory requirements and construction delivery.

MH

Maria Hajduga
Technical Pre-Construction Lead

Maria leads the technical content of pre-construction, ensuring surveys, layouts, technical detailing and package information are accurate, practical and buildable before projects move into delivery.

COMMERCIAL AND DELIVERY

KY

Kevin Young
Commercial Manager

Kevin brings over 25 years of experience in estimating, pre-construction and commercial management across the built environment. At Streetspace.Build, he manages the commercial function across the project portfolio, ensuring cost certainty is established early and maintained throughout.

His involvement from the design stage means proposals are shaped around what can actually be delivered within the available budget.

JN

Jerry Napthine
Construction Director

Jerry brings over 25 years of construction experience and leads delivery across the Streetspace.Build project portfolio.

He is involved from early feasibility, ensuring solutions are practical, buildable and aligned with target budgets, and retains responsibility through construction to maintain control of cost, programme and quality.

HC

Harmony Carter
Project Delivery Manager

Harmony owns project delivery continuity from pre-construction through to completion, keeping projects moving through the business, maintaining client communication once live, and ensuring actions and handovers across technical, commercial and delivery functions are followed through.

Her focus is on outcomes and momentum rather than process for its own sake.

One team across the project

The roles are different, but they are deliberately connected. Client engagement, design, technical development, commercial management and construction do not operate as separate stages with responsibility handed from one department to the next.

That continuity is central to the way Streetspace works: the people developing the project understand what has already been agreed, why decisions were made and what the client needs the completed project to achieve.
